I built Client Tracer to help businesses find potential customers without spending hours manually searching. It works in three steps:

1. Enter your website URL – The system analyzes your business based on your site’s content.

2. Define your target locations – Choose where you want to find potential customers (countries, states, or cities).

3. Get verified leads – You receive a list of businesses with verified email addresses, LinkedIn profiles, company URLs, and more.

I wanted a tool that simplifies lead generation without being spammy or relying on generic lists. It’s designed for small and mid-sized businesses that need targeted outreach.

I am now using this system for my own products. I hope it will help others as well.

Would love feedback from HN! Let me know what you think or if you have any questions.

The blog post discusses what Swing Trading is, importance of volatility and liquidity in swing trading, and how you can short list stocks when developing your swing trading strategies.

A dividend is the distribution of a company’s earnings to its shareholders and is determined by the board of directors in the dividend payer company. With other words, companies share some of their earnings with their shareholders by paying dividends. Dividend Payout Ratio tells you which fraction of company’s earnings is paid in the form of dividends. By looking at the Dividend Payout Ratio, dividend investors can evaluate whether the dividend payer company’s dividend payment program is sustainable.

But... How do you calculate Dividend Payout Ratio? How should you evaluate numbers when taking your investment decision? Which dividend payout ratio is good for investment purposes? Is it always good if a company pays out all its earnings as dividend? What does it mean when a dividend payout ratio is too low or even negative?

I tried to answer these questions in a blog post. Dividend investors may find it useful.

You are welcome to leave your feedback. I'll be happy to answer any potential questions, either here, at Product Hunt or via email.

Algorithmic trading is huge and such tools enabling algorithmic trading appear to play a major role for enterprises being active in this domain. But for individuals, assuming that you don’t have millions to invest in such tools, you will either develop your own solutions or live without a solution.

It is an extremely challenging area. I developed my own solution by using Neural Networks, and even made it available in a mobile app.

Apple App Store: https://apps.apple.com/se/app/investing-stock-market/id16023...

Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.loheden.in...

Here is what it does in a nutshell:

- It predicts whether the price of a given common stock will go up or down in the coming month.

- Given predictions are probabilistic. If the prediction is above 50%, it indicates that the price of the stock is expected to go up, otherwise a price decrease is predicted.

- As the prediction gets closer to 100% (or 0%), it indicates a stronger algorithmic expectation on a price increase (or decrease).

- Stocks with highest algorithmic price increase likelihood are short listed in 2 groups: One for Penny Stocks, and one for the Non-Penny Stocks. (Penny stocks happen to be a lot more volatile and some people may prefer to focus on just that ones instead.) For these short listed stocks, beside Buy Target, Sell Target and Stop Loss values are shared as well based on recent volatility of each stock.

- Predictions for stocks are renewed on each market day as more data is collected from markets. Expectedly, each stock’s price increase likelihood for the coming month changes every day with new input data coming from markets. For this reason, predictions from the past week are also made available so that one can follow if the price increase likelihood for a given stock has been - e.g. - increasing in the past week.

- Predictions are indicative. Algorithms aim to predict future price movements by looking at the complex historical trends of stocks, which is not feasible for a pair of human eyes. External & unexpected factors (i.e. wars, natural disasters, political chaos, etc.) may always positively/negatively affect markets (especially in the short term) resulting in unexpected price movements for stocks. Predictions aim to short list stocks for short term trading; and with the aim of making it even a stronger tool, I have also added a strong Stock Screener function. Beside, technical indicators, company financials, dividend history, latest stock specific news from markets, and historical graphs enabling a proper technical analysis are also made available within the app.

Being very interested in stock markets, I have developed it exactly in the way I need it. I wanted to share it here as well in case other people with similar interests would like to try it out.

There are hundreds of companies that consistently pay dividends in US stock markets. They do not necessarily pay these dividends at the same time and there are certain conditions that need to be fulfilled to be eligible to receive these dividends.

What is dividend? “A dividend is the distribution of a company's earnings to its shareholders and is determined by the company's board of directors.” - Investopedia With other words, companies share some of their earnings with their shareholders by paying dividends (often in the form of money).

Long story short, for each dividend payment, there are 2 key dates (apart from other relevant dates).. Pay Date: The day when the company pays dividends. Ex-Dividend Date: You must purchase your shares before the Ex-Dividend Date and you must be holding them when the market opens on this date, to be able to get the upcoming dividend payment.

Example for Company XYZ that pays quarterly dividends: Pay Date: 2022-09-20 Ex-Dividend Date: 2022-09-05 If you buy your shares before 2022-09-05, you get the dividend payment from Company XYZ on 2022-09-20. If you happen to buy your shares on the Ex-Dividend Date or any day after, you will not be eligible for the dividend payment on 2022-09-20 but will get the next dividend payment as long as you hold your shares until the next Ex-Dividend Date.

I've developed a stock market app, which aims to be the Swiss knife by providing several tools for traders & investors. The app is available in both Apple App Store and Google Play Store with the title “Stock Screener & Swing Trading”.

I would like to emphisize the Dividend Tracker function in this post, which helps track upcoming dividend payments. Dividend Tracker groups companies based on their Ex-Dividend Dates, being either in 1 Week, 1 to 2 weeks, 2 to 3 weeks, 3 to 4 weeks, or more than 4 weeks. By following the list of companies that are about to pay dividends in the near future, you can organize your dividend investments in a more organised way. The Dividend Tracker section also provides information for dividend amount, dividend yield, trailing twelve months dividend, dividend pay out ratio (which fraction of their earnings they pay as dividend), and some more parameters that are relevant to dividend payments.

I haven’t seen it anywhere that organises and lists upcoming dividend payments in the way that my app does, I wanted to share it here. I hope it helps people who track and invest in dividends.

Thanks for sharing. Really interesting that you've focused on dividend scheduling which is something I haven't quite seen anywhere else. The app also mentions stock prediction using AI - do you have more details about it?

Thanks for your comment. Yes, AI predictions is yet another function within the app. These predictions focus on short term price movements of common stocks. It does not predict the price itself but aims to have an educated guess on whether the price will go up or down in the coming month. If the prediction is >50%, the price is expected to go up, otherwise a price decrease is expected. A separate prediction is made available for each common stock, and predictions are updated on each market day as more data is collected from markets. 2 different short list of stocks (one for penny stocks only, and one for the rest of the stocks) having the highest algorithmic price increase likelihood are made available as well on each day. As the prediction confidence gets closer to 100% (or 0%), the algorithmic expectation for a price increase (or decrease) gets higher for the stock. For these short listed stocks with highest price increase likelihood, sell target and stop loss figures are shared as well, which are determined based on recent volatility of each stock. (In case you are interested in technicalities, I have used LSTMs as the AI algorithm, which is a type of sequence models that considers in which order things happened in the past when generating predictions.) Worth to note that predictions are indicative, and should be evaluated by also considering technical indicators, financials of the company and even latest news, which are all also available within the app. On each page, if you press on the ? (which is at top right corner), you can find more information on how to use each function within the app. I hope this answers your question. Thanks again for your feedback.

Can it perform income calculations based on number of shares held ? I currently use an app called DivCalc for this since I’ve recently been interested in income investing. Just curious!

Thank you for your comment. No, it unfortunately does not perform income calculations as of now. But thank you for your feedback, it would absolutely be a good complement to the dividend tracker functionality. It really took its time to structure all dividend payer companies, I surely add your feedback to the backlog as well. May be worth to mention as a side note.. It is possible to add any stock (or ETF) to your watch list within the app. In the Stock Screener section of the app, it is also possible to short list stocks. Example: You can filter stocks that have a dividend yield > 2%, and have an ex-dividend date that is within the next 1 month.
