> We have the worst vaccine coverage of western Europe.
You're right, I hadn't realised this. Still, all countries in Western Europe are within ~10% of each other when it comes to the percentage of the population that's fully vaccinated.
More generally, I definitely don't think Switzerland's handling of the pandemic was perfect, but it currently seems to me that Switzerland did mostly follow the advice of the scientific community.
Very cool project. I'm currently evaluating whether I could commute 75km per day on a pedelec. In Switzerland there is a small bike manufacturer that makes long range pedelec : https://www.speedped.com/ (German only). It's very expensive though but the battery pack can be updated to something quite impressive.
You definitely could, but .ch is a bit more mountainous than where I live to put it mildly so it's not the distance that I would worry about but the elevation change. If that's within bounds you likely would be fine in three seasons but winter would be problematic, if not downright dangerous.
Since they are registered and used as mopeds, why not get an electric moped instead? Then you don't have to pedal and can sit more comfortable, maybe even with a windscreen.
I don't really see the point of pedelecs, unless you disregard the law and just pretend they are less powerful e-bikes. But then you'll lose it if the police notice.
It's an interesting concept where you define the command line "help" syntax and it generates an arguments structure and an associated parser. I've used the C version, I believe the C++ version is better maintained.
Docopt is great until you start digging in and discover the author doesn't have the first clue about parsing. I don't mean in the sense of "weird opinions about recursive descent", but in the literal sense of "has no idea what parsing is or means". The internal implementation is a gigantic clusterfuck of the worst sort of poorly constructed, unmaintainable code you could imagine.
I maintain two ports of docopt and I'm telling you not to use it.
