In my experience SQL gets unreadable fast when it comes to more complex query. I prefer PySpark where you can use python functions and classes to structure your code.

I am a data engineer with 6+ years of experience in automotive production and logistics. I have a strong project management background as well. My strength is communication with the user and then iterate quickly to build something awesome. Additionally, I have been getting into fullstack development in my free time. I use AWS professionally and sometimes can't believe how complex it is. To me it seems to be made for complex architectures in very large enterprises. It maps the organizational complexity. For the individual trying and building applications that seems way over the top. So for my personal stuff I use Digital Ocean. I think their App platform is awesome. Just connect it to your repo and every time you merge a feature branch into main it gets automatically build and deployed.
