> Malwarebytes’ post says GrayKey can unlock an iPhone in around two hours, or three days or longer for 6 digit passcodes.

So couldn't you avoid this by, say, having a longer PIN? Maybe even a password?

Yeah I’m curious about how this would work with a longer pin. I have one that’s over 6 and you need to press ok after punching in the pin; making it much harder to crack I’d imagine.

And couldn't Apple defend against this by using an exponentially increasing wait period between guesses? Probably after some number of guesses with no delay, say 10 guesses.

They already do that--but this box somehow bypasses that security measure.

I would hope so too, but without _massive_ changes I sincerely doubt the general public would adopt a decentralized social network.

What's that?

The digital version of a fictional drug from Neal Stephenson's novel of the same name.

Mindset is more like a digital smart drug not a mental virus hahaha

Heads-up: Encrypt.me logs your IP address when connecting!

Which they are very upfront about, and if you are only using it to connect over public wifi I don’t see any big issues with it.

How about requesting clipboard access in the first place?

100%, you mean.

Well of course people want to eliminate it, but how?

Is this not at least a step in the right direction?

> other than shits and giggles, is there any value in having it there?

Nope.

If you need someone to talk to about _anything_, send me a Keybase message, Twitter DM, email, etc.

I don't have any general advice but would love to help.

Info in profile.

You're very kind, thank you so much.

If you'd like to make an offer shoot me an email :)
