Hello all! My first post on here, so forgive me if I have made any mistakes in posting this.

Context: I am currently undertaking a integrated masters in Computer Science (4 year course with placement). In fact, I am writing this place on my placement whilst I wait for my build to complete. I graduate in July.

I have done other internships outside of my degree already, so I do have some (be it little) experience. I have already managed to secure a graduate scheme (starts Sept) so am looking to take on an internship in the summer holidays to keep myself busy.

Do many companies take on graduates in internships? Is it worth mentioning I already have a graduate scheme sorted or this will have a negative impact on my application?

I have also been applying to internships abroad too (mainly USA). I don't seem to be having much luck, anyone on here had much experience with the same process? I don't really want to be paying out 7k~ to those companies who sort out your visa etc. I don't really have that kind of income to spend haha.
