Does it support arm64 emulation on an x86_64 host? That way I could just run the backed up apks directly.

Other comments specify this is not a virtual machine, it's a container, so there's no emulation.

You may need qemu.

Waydroid is a containerized Android, not emulated, so it would run same arch as the host.
