Is it possible to edit the characters it inputs from the defaults, even to characters not in the English alphabet? Which operating systems is it compatible with?

Yes, you can manage and edit your chord library. Default device has 500 chords for the 300 most common English words.

It supports other character sets--have to join their discord and look to see which ones.

It's compatible with any system a keyboard would be. The OS doesn't know it's not just a USB keyboard.
