An INSTALL file would be nice, but the docs are there, if buried. For my Ubuntu 11.04 install, it was smooth sailing after I purged my stock version of Tornado and upgraded to 2.1.1.

    sudo apt-get purge tornado
    sudo pip install tornado pyopenssl kerberos
    sudo ./setup.py install
    cd /opt/gateone
    ./gateone.py
