Ask HN: Has the myth of the tech bubble finally died?

I think it’s telling that even as tech stocks and valuations flounder, no one is yelling that “the tech bubble is finally popping!” We’ve been hearing about a tech bubble for over a decade, yet now, nothing.


The well known tech bubble popped more than a decade ago. I was unaware people think we're in another one. There haven't been the hallmark rich-quick stock explosions we saw back then.


Well facebook is firing - not just freezing hiring but firing people so there's that.


I heard they aren't renewing contractors. But not firing employees
