Welcome to the RSS club. Many issues you have noticed are a result of social media. Sites removed RSS after they wanted to push you to Facebook/other.

You may need RSS-bridge (GitHub) as middleware.

I use Yet Another RSS Reader (yarr, also on GitHub), which has very good mobile browser support.

I self host both in my home K8s cluster behind GitHub auth.
