ETH has become deflationary, uses much less power (which also decimated most GPU mining in general), has a better gas calculation mechanism and now withdrawals from a system that securely earns interest, that even beats inflation.
Next up will be better scalability and zkproofs. You have to hand it to the developers, they are doing a great job.
