Governments are going to be scammed out of trillions of dollars trying to instantiate digital currencies, and tax payers are going to have to foot the bill. I really hope sanity prevails before that happens.


Just because you have a digital currency, doesn't mean it has to be decentralized.

In fact, if you have a national currency, you would want it to be centralized.


I never knew Twitter did that with the URL. The profile name doesn't matter.

What's weirder is that retweets get an ID themselves, which point to the same tweet.
