> Have you seen the talks that he interrupts to take the stage for himself?

Links to videos of such incidents or didn't happen.

He interrupted throughout the talk and then gets up on stage at the end. Quite disrespectful, and it's not even the talk I was looking for.

Side note to flaggers: defend your decision please. I see no real errors in the comment. We're here to discuss.

Lennart's behavior in that talk does seem obnoxious, but the speaker also seems to be on-board with the adversarial banter, as well as there being acknowledgement of it being somewhat of a discussion-oriented format. Was that the way talks were playing out in general in that room?

I'm afraid that comes off like "If the speaker let it happen it's okay," which just rewards pushiness.

As I understand it, conference talks deliver their message first, THEN have a Q&A at the end where details can get sussed out or corrections issued. Lennart's time to complain or correct was after the talk.

It depends on the conference/room/speakers.

I've been to talks where the format is deliberately more conversational. Lennart's raising that point when questioned specifically made me wonder if the room was already such an environment that day.

Your comment is entirely factual and fair. Unfortunately the Lennart camp is never here to discuss.
