On current, macOS Sonoma:

> Folks... just do:

    sudo sysctl iogpu.wired_limit_mb=<mb>

from Terminal. You’d have to do it every boot as it’s not sticky, but that seems better than patching your OS and disabling SIP.

Earlier:

> On older OSs, the name was different: sudo sysctl debug.iogpu.wired_limit=<mb>

but it does the same thing.
