Marc Andreessen on Biden administration targetting tech founders (zerohedge.com)

>> Andreessen...said...to destroy political opponents, tech founders, and the crypto community..."30 tech founders were secretly debanked."...

What 30 tech founders were secretly debanked in the last 4 years? Is this covered somewhere?

Is it impossible to know if it was done secretly and they didn't want it publicized?

I can't tell if this remark is about the SVB run [0], or, separately, about individuals having their accounts frozen/shutdown for political/ideological reasons?

I added a response to this question in another thread: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42254263

If what he said in the interview is true, then I fear for privacy, freedom and human rights in the West and the USA specifically.

The EU has right to the basic bank account. The similar right does not exist in the UK, US or anywhere for companies. The EU plans to have right to corporate bank account in the upcoming PSD3.

However banks still can kick anyone out based on unspecified anti-money laundering suspicions (not need to be proven) and the customer cannot dispute.

Whoever controlls the drones and ai will controll everyone. While everyone is distracted and divided by different agendas and propaganda, someone outfits drones with military equipment and tear gas.

That whole conversation is worth listening to

It's another telling example of just how far-left Democrats in the White House spooked Silicon Valley heavy hitters

See... the rest of the world -- and the actual American far left -- consider Biden's White House right wing.

And unfortunately, I'm afraid that the only way Democrats can salvage the situation is by passing actual left-wing policies:

* Zero out all student debt

* End all support for Israel

* Nationalize the insurance industry and roll it into Medicare

* Restore 50% and 90% tax brackets (and apply them to every form of income)

I don't think that any of these are good policies. And I really hate that Democrats would have to pander to them in order to "excite" the actual far left.

But they've got the decision power. If they don't show up, Republicans win. Such an outcome is clearly worse for them in every way, and yet they are willing to make good on the threat.

Perhaps a few years of seeing what an actual far-left government looks like would reset the national discourse a bit.

We just had that, including a completely open borders policy and the government actively flying in illegal migrants all over the country.

As a result the national discourse changed a huge lot and the country massively turned pro-republicans.
