May be it is just me. But over the past 3-4 years I have actually felt there is an increasingly large chance of getting / making a 3rd computing platform on Desktop and Smartphone other than Windows / Mac or Android / iOS.
Mostly because features for both PC and Smartphone platform have been stable and there hasn't been much change in the past years. 95% of my usage on Mac is on web browser. Then 4% is on Whatsapp, and 1% is Calculator, Finder and Media Player.
For Smartphone it is somewhat the same. No longer are the days people continue to look for new Apps for something. For Camera shots or other small tools or games. Most are now integrated into the OS.
