No. Our species must make the small evolutionary step to change general behavior or die. I am willing to make every ethical change to make that possible and I think I would like to live in that world.
You're a bit of an idealist, which I admire. I don't think the human race will die any time soon, but the same can't be said for countless other species of plants and animals that we are CURRENTLY wiping out. Our environment is getting a little crappier every day. I really hope as a whole we can follow your lead and make some changes. But my expectations are low.
