It's more Canadian anecdotes vs US anecdotes, not an analysis. I don't live in US and never faced with US healthcare. I live in Montreal, and local healthcare is not impressive compared with the European counties I can compare. Most of my friends-immigrants had medical treatment in their home countries in Europe or India, mostly because of the wait times. Probably one would better compare with UK, FR, ES, not CA.
When are we going to reign in this kind of corporate propaganda?
Oil companies are doing this, cigarette companies did this, asbestos companies did this, lead companies did this, opioid companies did this, sugar companies are actively doing this...
I assume you are referring to limiting free speech. I think limiting free speech for non-natural persons (i.e. corporations, partnerships, LLCs, etc) would be extremely effective without leading to problems associated with limiting free speech of natural persons.
